Respected developer Adam Green found some interesting things today. A little while back we told a rumor about Samsung working together yet again with Google for the next Nexus phone. Well Adam Green today found proof of this, so we now can tell you for about 99.9% certain that Samsung will indeed produce the next Nexus phone. Well what is that proof then? Well what he found are peaces of code that was written on Google’s own Git Repository (correct me if I’m wrong) of a kernel they are building and  it reveals the following specs: Exynos5250 dual core, mali gpu (vithar), s5k4e5 camera, s5k6a3 camera, wm8994 sound soc and aS6E8AB0 display with 1280×800. We like to believe that it is the new Nexus but it could be also a New Google Tablet…. What do you guys think? Thank you Codeworkx for pointing this out.

Samsung has introduced a new kind of DUOS phone running on their own interface. This device is specially for the budget market. So what are the specifications? The phone uses a small 2.4” LCD display and on the back you will find a 3.0 megapixel camera. The bluetooth version for this device is 2.1. A new operating systems means also new opportunities for developers to write their apps for. Nowadays the success of an OS can depend on developer support. Samsung and Intel are encouraging developers to write apps for Tizen. But its impossible that you will get a full appstore just like iOS and Android in just a couple of days/weeks. Open Mobile has come with a solution called Application Compatibility Layer (ACL) which lets you run Android apps on a Tizen based device. They are claiming 100 percent compatibility and that you can expect the same user experience (responsive and speed) like on a Android device. Below you can find a demo of the ACL running on a ExoPC Tablet. Keep in mind that everything isn’t finalized yet.

Yes guys you’re reading it right according to our sources the GT-i9500 does have a Super AMOLED HD Plus display! The GT-i9500 is the Tizen developers device that Samsung has handed out to developers on the Tizen Developers Conference in San Francisco. The internal code name for this device is Fraser. Even that its impossible to discover the pixels (unless you have a 20/20 eyesight) on a regular Super AMOLED HD display on 4.6/4.8 inches, still Samsung received some negative feedback about it as they’ve used a Super AMOLED HD panel of 4.8 inches on the Galaxy S3. The reason why Samsung has chosen to use a Plus variant for a developers device can be that this is a sort of a test as we believe that the production process of a Plus variant is more difficult and isn’t ready yet for mass market devices like the Galaxy S3. Is Samsung working on a new Windows Phone device for the US? Some leaked phone is telling so. The relationship between Samsung and Windows Phone isn’t that big. Maybe this is because Samsungs Android phones are lots better. Couple of days ago we tweeted about an update for the Omnia 7. We haven’t check it by ourself. If this is a true device then it will use the name Mandel. The code number will be the Samsung SGH-I667. There are no words if this device will hit Europe. The Samsung Mandel is using Windows Phone 7.5 aka Windows Phone Mango.

Samsung will bring the Galaxy Note 10.1 on the market with better specifications. According NenaMark the Note 10.1 score better than the model earlier this year. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 10.1 at MWC in Barcelona, Samsung will use the same quad-core CPU as in the Galaxy SIII. If Samsung also will change the screen resolution we don’t know but it will be better cause of the iPad3. Hopefully we can get the tablet by the end of Q2. We will make a review about this tablet later this year.

More bad days for Nokia, Samsung is now the biggest phone maker over the world. Nokia isn’t selling very well thanks to Windows phones. But because Samsung breaks out record over record thanks to all Android phones they are officially number one! Hopefully Samsung will spend more money on faster phone updates.
